Scotland

Scotland takes its name from the Princess Scotia who many believed to have arrived in Scotland from Egypt. Perhaps she was a daughter of the Pharaoh Akhenaten escaping after the destruction of his kingdom?

This unlikely connection between a far northern kingdom, that even today is represented by the mythical unicorn, and the holy lands of Egypt and the middle east continues to be found today in the mysterious Chapel of Roslin with its templar connections and the legends of Pontius Pilot’s origins in the tiny hamlet of Fortingall where Europe’s oldest yew tree grows.
