The Nile Valley, Egypt

Egypt’s Nile Valley, orginally known as Khem, represents one of the oldest and certainly the most awe inspiring initiatory paths on earth.

As you journey up the Nile from the south of the country you ascend through the chakras of the spine. The southern temples on the Nile in the Aswan and Nubian area include Abu Simbel, Philae (Isis) and Kom Ombo (Sobek and Horus) that represent the root and sacral chakras.

Further north towards Luxor, orginally known as Thebes, lie the temples of the solar plexus and heart chakras including Edfu (Horus), Karnak (Amun) and Dendera (Hathor)

Finally as the energy ascends up through the earth’s primal meridian it culminates at the Giza Plateau where the throat, third eye and crown chakras are represented. In total there are 33 rites of initiation along the Nile, or the river of Babylon.

On this plateau, home to the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid, not only can the initiate work on achieving enlightenment, but information and energy is transmitted across the planet from this nodal point.
